About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Environmental Studies (JIES) is an academic publication initiated by the Central of Islamic Environmental Studies (CIES), Universitas La Tansa Mashiro. The journal is dedicated to the integration of Islamic values and environmental science, focusing on research and community-based actions for sustainability. It aims to be a global reference for scholars and practitioners in the field of Islamic environmental ethics, eco-theology, and green development policies. The journal aligns its objectives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 13 and SDG 15), and promotes academic collaboration across disciplines and regions.
